Maggie was Director of Studies at a Cambridge Language School, from 1978 to 1992. She taught in S.E. Asia for ten years and in the Caribbean for three years, as well as teaching in schools in England.

The School

Classes are held in an education and training facility in the village high street with modem teaching rooms and equipment.

It has been converted from two Victorian buildings into a THREE STAR residential centre.

Norman Richardson House

The school's aim is to help clients with limited free time to improve their English skills in an English-speaking environment.  We offer classes to both college and university students, and professional and business clients, in order to help them make the maximum progress in the time they have available.

Classes are scheduled throughout the day, with talks and workshops in the evening.  The residence can accommodate 12 students.  A few homestay families are available. The group will be divided into small classes with a maximum of 6 students .  This will be small enough for each member to receive personal attention and for the most shy student to feel comfortable about speaking and asking questions: but also a good size for a dynamic interaction to develop between students and teacher.

Throughout the year there are lectures on topics of local and international interest given by local professionals, some of whom have worked world-wide in their fields.
